Linksys Kiss Media Streamer
PC World have been advertising this media streamer on TV. But what will it do for you? Well it lets you send all of your digital media content such as video, photos, music to your TV in another room by using wireless technology.
You place the media streamer next to your TV and then access your PC remotely via a remote control. This means that your PC has to be on when using it. I suppose you could also buy a networked LAN hard disk and just connect that to the unit instead of using a PC. This type of unit means you can download and store content on your PC, but not have to burn it to DVD or CD to use it in another room, just access the content remotely instead. The unit also has a built-in DVD player. Here are the specifications:
