Can you believe it, a £199 laptop from Dell. It's true. For £199 you can get a cheap Dell laptop called the Vostro 1000 laptop.

First impressions are good, you get lots of ports including multiple USB ports, card reader, DVD drive, 15.4" screen, VGA out port, Ethernet and Fax/Modem port, microphone and headphone jacks and an express card slot. It also comes with a wireless card and you get Windows Vista.

You can also modify and build your own PC starting at the base price of £199, by adding larger hard drives, more memory and accessories.
